My Network Marketing Rant!  

Do you want to work your own hours?  If you are a hard worker, do you want to reap all the benefits of your hard work?  I am involved in a nutraceutical network marketing businesses.  I choose to do this because I love the products and use them everyday.  I quickly saw it was to my advantage to not just be a consumer of these products.  I have taken the time to study how network marketing works. It has changed radically over the last few years and is becoming a common way for quality products to be distributed.  It’s a no brainer for me that this is a simple way to have an internet based business.  Online websites delivering quality products to your door, promoted by word of mouth.  AND my business runs from an app off my phone, so 21st century!  It really is that simple. Each company has a slightly different system but basically you buy a product and if you love it you recommend it to others.  Then if you want to make some money you can encourage others to do the same. It’s not rocket science and the companies don’t want to set you up for failure as they want you to succeed as much as you want to because if you succeed you are getting more of their product out there.  In fact, they offer lots of ways to reward you when you are succeeding.  Does your boss do that? The magic of network marketing is you can work when you want, from wherever you want, with whomever you want. Who doesn’t want that in the busy lives we lead?  You can choose to supplement your income or make it your full time job.  The only downside is it’s up to you! You have to put the work in to succeed.  This isn’t a get rich quick scheme.  These companies have systems and leaders for you to follow so all the hard work is done for you but you have to do the work.  The people who don’t succeed are the people who don’t put in the hard work or who give up.  They are normally the ones who bag network marketing because it didn’t work for them.   It’s highly likely that you are going to face negative, uneducated people.  But like I said, it really is simple.  If I can do it, anyone can.

Why isn’t everyone doing it? Well obviously they are making all the money they need in the job they love, working the hours they are happy with!  OR  Because they are uneducated on how network marketing works, have heard a bad story,  or quite possibly they have a fear of failure. I simply think… I was going to buy the products anyway so why not make some money as well.

Are multi-level marketing schemes the same as pyramid selling?

There are a number of multi-level marketing schemes operating in New Zealand which are not pyramid schemes. Multi-level marketing schemes involve the sale of rights to sell a product or products in different market levels. In multi-level marketing, participants earn commission from selling real products, whereas pyramid selling is earning money solely or primarily by introducing other people into the scheme.

Income expectation is limited by the number of sales, not by the number of new sales representatives. Customers of multi-level marketing companies can buy the goods or services they offer without joining the scheme.

Multi-level marketing usually involves commercially viable products (for example clothing, jewellery, cosmetics, health products or cookware) which present genuine business and income-earning opportunities through repeat sales to clients. Customers can repeatedly buy goods or services because they have a genuine use.

It all starts with a friend...

Friends are important, friends I can trust.  Friends know me.  My friend knew I was a health nut.  He knew I would jump at the chance to try a product made out of superfoods, some that couldn't be sourced in NZ naturally.  He knew I hated swallowing lots of tablets.  It was a no brainer for him to tell me about this new to NZ nutraceutical company and he already  KNEW I would be his best customer because there was nothing else out there that was juice in a pouch, simple and easy with all the nutrition you need for optimum health.  I was sold after watching the 5 minute video.  This was my type of health and wellness.

I believe in... right place at the right time.  

Everyone wants to make some more money right?  

I didn't realise I could tackle this big world of the internet and apps as a way for me to be a business woman... but I found the support I needed and after a year of research into the marketing world and how best to enter it, I have embraced technology and found my calling.  I want to share my journey with you.
